My Wife

I would like to thank my wife for just sharing some of the good stuff in her valentine blog! Thanks for keeping it clean hon!

Seriously though, I have really lucked out in life...cant complain about family, friends or where we are in life. There are for sure some anxious stressful times but overall......GREAT!

I could not ask for a more caring loving spouse, she really does take care of it all. I have the great excuse of a job that can take me out of the house. There is no way I could do what she does everyday and take care of home, kids and all the tedious work of adoption. There is three full time jobs in that description.

For the record the only reason I stood Kris up on our first date was because it was my 5 yr high school reunion. It was either that or take out a Young woman that was still a Jr. in highschool. Looking back I should of just gone on the date!

She was great pen pal while I was in Kuwait, that is where our relationship really started to take off. We both (i think) were unsure of the relationship unitl I came home for good. Then our realtionship was in fast forward, and never looked back. I followed her and her family when they moved out to colorado. ( i had no roots any more in utah) Within three months we where engaged, and married a month 1/2 later. Now 10 years later we are getting our second wind! No stopping us now! I am thankful everyday for my family. The kids are a blessing and I love the weirdness that flows thru them from time to time...if I had a video of all the weird stuff, that would be my golden ticket for funniest videos. And since my wife never puts a pic of herself up, i'll do it for her. How could you not love these two models?
I wish I had something clever to quote to end this with, but I'm not a big talker....But if I had to leave with some words of wisdom it would be the following:

If you're too open minded, your brains will fall out.
Age is a very high price to pay for maturity.
Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going to a garage makes you a mechanic.
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.
If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before.
My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance.
Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious.
It is easier to get forgiveness than permission.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite government program.
If you look like your passport picture, you probably need the trip.
Bills travel through the mail at twice the speed of checks.
No husband has ever been shot while doing the dishes.
A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand.
Middle age is when broadness of the mind and narrowness of the waist change places.
Opportunities always look bigger going than coming.
Junk is something you've kept for years and throw away three weeks before you need it.
There is always one more imbecile than you counted on.
Experience is a wonderful thing. It enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.
By the time you can make ends meet, they move the ends.
Someone who thinks logically provides a nice contrast to the real world.
When you eat a candy bar or have a wonderful dessert, have a diet drink. The calories are cancelled out by the diet drink.
I love deadlines...especially the 'whooshing' sound they make as they fly by.
When the only tool you own is a hammer, every problem begins to look like a nail.
What was the greatest thing before sliced bread?
A flashlight is a case for holding dead batteries.
The cost of living hasn't affected its popularity.
Is it possible to be totally partial?
It's not an optical illusion. It just looks like one.
Is it my imagination, or do buffalo wings taste like chicken?
and if you want a good laugh check out this youtube commercial...this is who I want to model myself after... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlnojyrSx_g
